About Q-Factor
Global Aid Trust present Q-Factor, a nationwide Quran Competition under UK based community educational project with Channel S (Sky 777), which is running for the 8th year now.
It’s main aim is to helping out children, this event would contribute towards advancing educational benefits to the UK children in many ways such as:
- Boosting children’s literacy and oracy in English;
- Improving their presentation skills;
- Raising their confidence and learning motivation;
- Increasing their self-esteem;
- And obviously, being connected to the Book of Allah;
We have been to 15 cities of UK and over 45 mosques for our selection round previous years along with telephone screening rounds. We were able to reach over 5000 contestants through the country. It has become household brand of name of Quran across the Muslim Community regardless their origin. Our plan for this year to reach more cities and ate least 50 mosque venues inshallah.
Mini Q Factor Competition is no doubt probably the best platform to engage our children, parents and honourable teachers to have the love of the Qur’an in our hearts.
The top 6 competitors will get Yes Card and will move straight to the Quarter final (Live Studio round on Channel S Sky 777) to compete with other children throughout the UK.
The final prize money this year is as below:
First Winner Prize: £1500
Second Winner Prize: £1000
Third Winner Prize: £500
